On July 17-29, a group of high school students and leaders will be heading to Mexico as part of SERVE, a Converge NW mission trip. While on the trip, groups will build homes and minister to the local community.

Applications are currently available for high school students who are interested in this incredible opportunity to partener together and share Jesus with others. Admission will be on a rolling basis, starting with seniors/juniors then sophomores, and potentially freshmen based on availability on the trip. Applications may be picked up in the main office or in the youth room. 

All applications are due by November 18. Interviews will be scheduled as applications are received. 

What are some details of the trip?


Who: Students who are serious about their faith and the opportunity to serve others  outside of their normal life and comfort zone.

What: We'll be building homes and ministering to families and individuals in Mexico as well as training and debriefing in California.

Where: Training and debrief will take place at The Master's University. Missions work will happen in Tijuanna, Mexico in partnership with Caravan Ministries.

When: We will be gone July 17-29. There will also be monthly trainings as well as a one night retreat. 

Why: To better understand what it means to serve others, to experience Jesus in a new and exciting way, and to develop a fresh perspective on the world and our faith, all while working hard and spending time in fellowship. 

Cost: $1700 per student, includes airfare, transportaion, housing, etc... We will be doing support letters and fundraisers to help with the cost per person.
